The Effect of the Family-Centered Empowerment Model on Family Functioning in Type 1 Diabetic Children: A Quasi-experimental Study

Background: The family-centered empowerment model seems to be effective in empowering the patient and engaging family members identifying patient’s care needs cooperating with control diabetes its complications. Objectives: present study aimed evaluate effect of on functioning children type 1 diabetes. Methods: This quasi-experimental was conducted 80 primary caregivers admitted clinic Hazrat Ali Asghar (AS) Hospital Zahedan, southeast Iran, 2021. diabetic were selected using convenience sampling, then participants equally classified by random block method assigned 2 groups (intervention groups). data collected assessment device (FAD) a demographic information form.
